Upon enrolling with NBSA you'll be assigned a Training Specialist to work with you through every step of the program. Together you'll create your personal skill inventory and then develop a personalized learning plan to fit your needs and schedule. Your Training Specialist can even schedule Prior Learning Assessments (PLAs) to help you fast-track your certification.

Let's say you've earned your certification in Office Accounting Essentials and are ready to learn more. You now have the option to move on to the Accounting Clerk Certification program – or any other program you choose – at no additional cost. With NBSA, the more you learn, the more you save.

The Power of
Prior Learning Assessments
NBSA believes your time is too precious to be spent reviewing material you already know. That's why NBSA certification programs feature our unique Prior Learning Assessments (PLAs), which enable some students to fast-track their certification.
For example, if you think you're already fluent in Microsoft Excel, there's no reason to spend valuable time reviewing that material in an Excel skill module. Instead, simply request an Exemption PLA from your training specialist. If you score 70% or higher on the assessment, you'll then be exempt from course work for that module and can then move on to other skill modules.
